Arpeggios are tremendously helpful when it comes to playing notes that fit over a chord. That's because they are basically the same thing as the chord. Arpeggios are simply the chord tones.
Because an arpeggio is pretty much guaranteed to sound great over its matching chord it can be a powerful tool to use in your soloing. In this lesson, we'll cover the basics of the A7 arpeggio, briefly touch on the D7 arpeggio, and then put them both to work in an arpeggio based solo over a two-chord vamp.
