This week on Humano Sound we have another Global Groove resident & advocate for international rhythm and dance. Mr. Nice is an artist that committed to musical production and the art of the DJ once the dearth of musical genres representing large groups of people in this country became readily apparent. From that point on, he sought to connect seemingly disparate genres within the African Diaspora. Having grown up listening to the music of the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa, he hears many parallels with some of the music of Central and South America as well as the Caribbean. His goal is to try to continue this ongoing musical conversation that has been going on across continents for ages.
