In celebration of African American History Month during the month of February, the City of Hollywood African American Advisory Council, in coordination with Barry University Center for Community Service Initiatives and Liberia Economic and Social Development, Inc. Hosted the “4th Annual Talented 10th Poetry Slam” spoken word competition. High school students are invited to participate in the poetry/spoken word night at Hollywood City Hall.
