That combination on its own opens up a lot of sound design possibilities. It’s easy to create drones with a lot of motion, rhythmic patches, or dynamic playable voices. But the VastWave has a few special tricks up its sleeve. It has a build in glide circuit, build in VCA for FM, a special raw sounding pulse output, and the folder section even has it’s own input, which all open up more experiments.
In this video I go over the functions and features of the VastWave, and scratch the surface of designing sounds with a series of patches, utilizing the wave folder circuit, as well as some specific features of the VastWave.
