This poor old man was trying to sell his leftover vegetables on subway as he hadn't finished selling yet but the day was over and people were getting home. He got on the subway to try and sell his veggies. Everyone ignored him. The subway cart was filled with young people who just got back from work. The young people have money, they are more than capable of sparing a few dollars for the old man. Yet everyone turned him down.
Discouraged and sad, the man found a seat and sat down to rest a bit. One man seeing this, felt bad, he approached the old man wanting to buy some sweet potatoes. However, The old man doesn't know how to use cashless payment on his phone so the young man had to leave. He had no cash on him.
Just when all hopes were lost, the young man returned with the cash he exchanged. He found someone who had cash on hand and sent money to the person's bank account through phone and got the money he needed to pay the old man.
He came back and bought the old man's sweet potatoes. The old man was excited to make a few sales. He almost fell over when busying weighing the produce. The young man was kind enough to steady him so he doesn't fall over.
The young man then took a look at what else the old man was selling. He realized that the old man still had so much veggies left. He and a few other passengers decided to buy it all right then so the old man could go home.
