Not only is he creating memorable moments on dance floors, Naarm’s own Black Dave continues to bring good vibes and positive energy across his home city and beyond.

Dave has been blessing the ears of punters at a plethora of Melbourne’s top venues for some time now, supporting a whole host of our cities top artists as well as touring internationals. He is well known for his versatility where he is constantly blending in various styles and BPMs, from new and old sounds. He takes musical inspiration from a diverse array of styles so be sure to expect a bit of everything from him.

On the producing front, Dave has also built together a collection of his own music. With releases on HOUZ, Transition, Dionysian Mysteries as well as Deadline Records, his music continues to be played by many across the globe.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. As we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur

Since our debut as Tilt Shift in 2017 facilitated events at a variety of the city's most reputable late-night haunts like Revolver, Boney, Section 8 & New Guernica. In this time we have hosted & toured artists such as: Marvin & Guy, Curses, The Hacker, Tronic Youth & Timothy Clerkin
