The Teia Synthesizers OptoCore combines a vactrol multimode filter, with a vactrol VCA. Both circuits run in parallel, and you can manually crossfade between the two. The separate controls for drive, resonance and feedback add to the sonic range of the module. In this video I go over the functions and features of the OptoCore in detail, show a series of patches to give you an idea of the sonic range, and finally spend some time pinging the filter for percussive sounds!
