In this lesson, you'll learn how to combine pull-offs with cut-off bends—two powerful techniques for creating short, punchy lead phrases. You’ll start with a pull-off on the high E string, then mirror the idea on the B string. The bend you’ll practice is a cut-off bend, meaning you bend up but don’t release it audibly—you stop the note at the top of the bend for a more aggressive, percussive feel. The phrase ends with a touch of vibrato for added expression. This is a great move for any fast, energetic solo.
