The next installment in the Casket of Dreams saga, “Primal Ancient Legendary”, marks the return of this dungeon synth titan to the Ancient Meadow with their first record to feature work from both original members since their monolithic debut in 1997. “Primal Ancient Legendary” is an exemplary work of composition and the distinguished melody-writing we’ve come to expect from Casket of Dreams. This album is rife with Casket of Dream’s signature blend of dungeon synth, dark ambient, and darkwave spread across 10 tracks.

This record is an excellent showcase of the influences that made Casket of Dreams "stick". There's plenty of medieval undertones, dark ambient atmospheres, hints of darkwave and heavy electronics, and plenty more.
