I've always said 'Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good'. I don't know which played more of a factor but this could not have gone any better!

Having to remove this bracket was definitely a bit of a step backwards, but there's a domino effect as a result. Setting aside that the original install was *insert explicative* getting the location of the mounting bolts located on the new transom was key for being able to also install the reinforcement knees, framework for seating options and knowing what kind of space would be avail for installing misc systems like batteries, pumps, electronics, etc.

Glad I did this, but wouldn't want to do it again lol :-)
