Erich Von Stroheim plays a German who leaves America during the dawn of World War 1 and joins the German air force with his brother. When America enters the war both men are caught between loyalty to his home country and the threat of execution for desertion and treason to Germany.This film entered the public domain in 1958 due to lack of copyright renewal.
