I brought my Digitakt to the west coast of Ireland to find new sounds — but without a way to power it, I had to listen instead.

This video is the story of that trip: field recordings collected in wild places, and a beat made back home in the studio.

Nature shaped the rhythm. The cliffs, the waves, the wind — they all found their way into this track.

The ambient piece at the first half of the video is my intro into scoring something. I used the Moog Matriarch for all the pad sounds with some effects added in Ableton.
