I’ve been selling my soul, working all day, overtime hours, for bullshit pay
As corporate profits break records, bust up our unions, and we just want a living wage

Prechorus 1:
Oh it’s a damn shame
When the rich rig the game
Cuz we pay for their losses, while they keep the gains
They get whatever they want, while the middle class goes down in flames

Living in a new world, based on shareholders and greed
These rich men north of Richmond bought out by lobbyists, superpacs and 501c’s

But as soon as we ask for policies that boost wages, drop prices, they say no, that’s socialism
