Russia offered Alaska to the tiny country Liechtenstein. Despite it being able to easily afford Alaska and with all of the benefits associted with buying Alaska, the deal never went through. So why didn't Liechtenstein buy Alaska and why did Russia offer Alaska to Liechtenstein in the first place?
