"Halal-Haram"
Sergeant - Guitar
Crazy - Drums
KTWSG - Bass
Over 20 years ago we started our journey with a long improvised classic called "Walka Ładu z Chałosem." Now, after many moons obscured by clouds, we catch up with this piece. Halal-Haram is the D.N.A.'s first No-Wave composition in two decades. These sounds, coming from the wells of silence were recorded without any preparations, live and on-sight, as if the Boys have never left Studio Schron. Oriental groove, The D.N.A.'s trademark improvisation and psychedelic trance straight outta Czarnów.

The D.N.Acid Rock was formed in 1992 in Reytan High School in Warsaw (Poland). It is considered to be one of the most extreme, radical and independent alternative bands of the local underground scene.
The beginnings of their short but unforgettable career were very difficult - lack of proper instruments and almost no musical education whatsoever forced the band to rely on vintage and usually heavily damaged instruments that most people would consider to be too worn out to even offer them to the charity. Dramatic situation forced them to do what eventually became their trademark: total improvisation.
They recorded their improvisations on tape and gathered quite an extensive collection of recording sessions and private gigs. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these gems is lost forever (unless some of the surviving fans still keep their tapes in sheds, garages, lofts and basements). Their only LP entitled „Wielka Improwizacja” („The Great Improvisation”) (recorded 1993/1994) miraculously survived on a worn-out magnetic tape and was saved for future generations by Panek Studios who managed to meticulously remaster the analogue recordings and transfer them to the digital form. „Wielka Improwizacja” contains 15 tracks - each of them is a powerful statement and some songs have earned the cult status. Notable examples include the epic suite „Walka Ładu z Chałosem”, power protest song „Nie gódź się na to. (Protest Song)” and a psychedelic masterpiece „Komentarze czyli Brązowy Pył”.
In the Fall of 1994 The D.N.A. went electric for the first time - they purchased vintage electric guitars and amplifiers and even a professional drum set and a bass guitar. They opened their own recording studio („Biała Ściana” a.k.a. „Studio Schron”) established in the Cold War era fallout shelter. Unfortunately the amazing tracks recorded in SCHRON vanished and became a Holy Grail of record collectors worldwide. In the end of 2015, some of these songs were accidentally found on the tapes recovered during the construction works in the vaults of one of the band members' houses. They are currently undergoing the mastering and are expected to be made available to the world audience soon.
The D.N.A. never officially disbanded but they did not play together since around 1996 until early 2016. Their first studio reunion was a well-kept secret - they met as a trio in the Niggerville branch of the Abbey Road Studios in January 2016 for another improvisational session that brought over 6 hours of live-in-the-studio recordings.
Their first single in over 20 years is "Halal - Haram"
