In this brief overview, you’ll get a glimpse into the summertime schedules of Maverick Helicopters pilots. At our Grand Canyon South Rim location, we have 16 pilots rotating throughout the summer, with around 8 pilots per shift. Their day usually starts at 6:30am, allowing time for pre-flight inspections and fueling before taking off. The first flight typically departs at 8am, with about 7 flights scheduled each day.
