The all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey minivan is one that many families aspire to purchase. With Honda build quality and premium features this has become the luxury minivan to own. With seating for up to 8-passengers, plus a removable second-row jump seat, the second row can transform from a bench seat to two captains chairs. This allows the seats to be moved from side to side or what Honda calls Magic Slide seats. The dash has a standard 8-inch centre screen with standard Android Auto and Apple Car play. There is lane watch on all but the tp Touring model. The EX and above now can be equipped with the Honda Shop Vac. The engine remains the same in the 2018 Honda Odyssey Minivan at 3.5L but the power is up by 32hp to 280hp. To keep the fuel economy the same Honda has added a standard 9-speed automatic or 10-speed in the Odyssey Touring trim.
The All-New Honda Odyssey competes with the Chrylser Pacific minivan, Toyota Sienna, Kia Sedona, Nissan Quest and Dodge Grand Caravan to name a few. Other 7 or 8-passenger vehicles to consider are the Dodge Durango, GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, Toyota Highlander, Nissan Pathfinder, Mazda CX-9, Dodge Journey, Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe XL and Ford Flex.
