-- FR -- Pour le second album Ananke (@Ladloprods) du groupe international (Allemagne, France, Irlande, Norvège...) KHORA, nous avons eu la chance de nous entretenir avec l'artiste/producteur français Frédéric GERVAIS (ici chanteur, producteur, mixeur et en charge du mastering) qui a rejoint la formation en 2022 afin de connaître ici son implication sur le dernier projet en date dont il n'est pas peu fier. Il s'agit là de sa 1ère collaboration en tant qu'artiste avec KHORA. C'est d'ailleurs notre album du mois de mai 2025 !! Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'artiste/chanteur/producteur français Frédéric GERVAIS (également membre de MONOLITHE, ORAKLE), il a réalisé de nombreuses productions sonores en matière de metal extrême (MISANTHROPE, MONOLITHE, KHORA, IN THE WOODS...). A noter que dans KHORA, il y a eu ou il y a encore du beau monde dans le line-up : divers musiciens membres par exemple des illustres SETHERIAL, DODHEIMSGARD, AUTOKRATOR ; et des invités de renom sur Ananke comme Rune Eriksen (ex-MAYHEM, VLTIMAS, ex-AVA INFERI...), Johan Niemann (ex-THERION), André "Cosmocrator" Sognen (ex-ZYKLON, THE WRETCHED END...) etc.
Avis donc aux fans de black metal symphonique et progressif, dans la ligne des excellents EMPEROR, ORAKLE (dont il fait également partie), A/ORATOS, etc.). Quand 2 Frédéric passionnés de metal extrême se rencontrent, ça donne cette interview riche et passionnante, forcément ! ;-)

KHORA, we had the chance to speak with the French artist/producer Frédéric GERVAIS (here singer, producer, mixer and in charge of mastering) who joined the band in 2022 to find out about his involvement in the latest project of which he is very proud. This is his first collaboration as an artist with KHORA. It is also our album of the month for May 2025 !! For those who do not know the French artist/singer/producer Frédéric GERVAIS (also member of MONOLITHE, ORAKLE), he has produced numerous sound productions in the field of extreme metal (MISANTHROPE, MONOLITHE, KHORA, IN THE WOODS...). Note that KHORA has featured some great musicians in its lineup: various musicians who are members of the illustrious SETHERIAL, DODHEIMSGARD, and AUTOKRATOR; and renowned guests on Ananke, such as Rune Eriksen (ex-MAYHEM, VLTIMAS, ex-AVA INFERI, etc.), Johan Niemann (ex-THERION), André "Cosmocrator" Sognen (ex-ZYKLON, THE WRETCHED END, etc.). So, this is a good place for fans of symphonic and progressive black metal, in the vein of the excellent EMPEROR, ORAKLE (of which he is also a member), A/ORATOS, etc. When two Frédérics passionate about extreme metal meet, the result is a rich and fascinating interview, of course ! ;-)
