As a teenager, I was deeply inspired by the music of artists such as Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert, and μ-Ziq. I was also greatly influenced by labels like Planet V, Good Looking Records, Ninja Tune, and Shogun Audio, and I sincerely respect the legacy and culture they have built.
In recent years, while AI-driven music composition has become widespread, I have deliberately increased my use of traditional music equipment. Specifically, I am experimenting with conventional sequencing methods, processing synthesizer sounds through samplers, and then re-recording them.
This process takes more time than using AI, and technically, AI may produce superior results. However, the pioneers of this music created wonderful music within limited environments. Therefore, although it may seem like I am going against the current trend, I intend to continue creating music by hand, without relying on AI.
