Once quiet creeks were turned into raging torrents of water as over a foot of rain fell across areas of western South Carolina, Robert's swamp, which is nothing more than just a small creek. #southcarolina #flood #flooding

But as you can see right here, multiple sections of the roadway were taken out as a raging torrent of water came blasting through this area.

This whole area was just in a severe drought and obviously that has been gut punched by this tremendous amount of rainfall going from one extreme to another as the southeast, including the Carolinas continue to get hammered by round after round of historically heavy rain.
