Police in Michigan said a 12-year old boy stole a forklift truck and struck approximately 10 other vehicles as he drove recklessly through the city of Ann Arbour in the US. During the roughly hour-long car chase, the truck mounted pavements, ran red lights and ripped off street signs and car mirrors.
In a statement on its Facebook page, Ann Arbor Police Department said the unnamed juvenile had likely accessed the vehicle at Forsyth Middle School, where it was "unlocked with the key hidden inside the cab".
No one was injured in the pursuit, which took place across residential Michigan.
