In this video, Austin breaks down how to produce an alternative pop ballad! We are breaking down Riley's new track, "The Rest of Me"! This ballad isn't your traditional piano and acoustic guitar ballad. Instead we look at a slow, dark, and moody ballad that still has a full production including 80s inspired synths, ambient pads, hard hitting hip hop drums, wavy 808s, and tons of ear candy sprinkled in. This video shows that you can have a ballad, and still have a full, exciting arrangement.
