In December 1963 Capitol Records in America finally released their first single Stateside, I Want To Hold Your Hand. It charted in January and they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show on 9 February 1964.
The British Invasion was in full swing and The Beatles were now - the hottest band in the world!
