Halloween in the D was launched in 2018 to provide several days of community events and activities to allow Detroit children and their families to celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun way. Activities will include trunk-or-treating at Police and Fire stations, transformed City parks and parties at Recreation Centers, with free candy all across the city.
This year marks a return to traditional trunk-or-treat activities and Halloween activities at parks. More than 30,000 children participate in Halloween in the D activities each year.
