Male giraffes usually live a solitary life, which helps them find mates but works against them when the Kings and Queens of the savannah decide they’re the next meal.
In the pride, it’s the lionesses who do all the hunting, using strategy and teamwork to bring down massive prey like this.
The males wait until the hard work is done, taking their turn only when the feast is secure.
