While planning for the first Hymns album the Women of Worth ( WOW) band was among the first small group we wanted to be part . This presentation of the beautiful hymn " This Is My Father's World" by WOW for the Classic Hymns album " Ancient of Days " in 2008.WOW band was formed in 2004 and among their first performance was at the CPF ( Christian Professionals Forum) Christmas Dinner for friends for other faiths at the Breeze Hotel Chennai. WOW band has been part of Classic Hymns since its first album in 2008. Their song " Rise India Rise" is surely among the most dynamic song and very relevant for the Nation. It is written and tuned by WOW and Powerhouse Church. Women of Worth also works among women upliftment and other social causes for women.
With aim to revive hymns Classic Hymns has so far done over 200 hymns of which 8 albums are in English, 2 in Tamil and 1 each in Malayalam, Kannada & Bengali. It has also done a special Tamil song Neer Mathram Poodhum .View more on Classic Hymns on www.classichymns.in
