You see it too, then. Faded traces of glories past. Ain't reading that in a book, someone's life and blood that was. Real thing, once. Now just muffled echoes in the empty hallways. Lingering... hesitant to let go. A more somber continuation of my Vaesen binge. This one's for lore, investigations and grim realizations. Piano and a bit of strings with a good sprinkling of awkward polyrhythms and key changes to keep the edge on. Equal parts contemplative and tragic with just a hint of hope. It's not all over. Not for us. Not yet.
