This Rumba holds a special story – the falsetas were originally played by the legendary Juan Martin but never written down.

My colleague and former teacher, Martin Kelner, played this Rumba for years and passed it on to me for my new Rumba book 🎼.

Since we didn’t know the composer, we reached out to Juan Martin, and his wife confirmed that these falsetas were indeed composed by him. This is a beautiful example of how Flamenco is preserved and shared across generations.

I’ve transcribed this stunning piece ✍️, and it is featured in my new book 📖, available on Amazon in both German and English!

This Rumba is of medium difficulty – not easy, but perfect for ambitious guitar players. The book also includes a variety of pieces, ranging from simpler compositions to grand solo Rumbas.
