The setup of my Epiphone Les Paul Special was not good out of the box, but the guitar itself is very nice. I wanted to share the process of how I fixed the setup of this guitar in case it helps others who have the same issue. This will work for tun-o-matic bridges, wrap around bridges, and other one-piece fixed bridges. SGs will have similar bridges most of the time.

For quick reference, the steps of a set up are RAIN: Relief, Action, Intonation, Nut.

0:00 - Intro
1:10 - Set up notes
1:29 - Clean guitar
5:50 - Relief
7:25 - Action
10:47 - Intonation
13:47 - Nut
14:50 - Ending

Here is a link to the string action gauge I am using. It is a fairly useful tool to have for a guitarist. If you don't want to buy one though, you can find one on Google and print it!
