Do you remember this in Helluva Boss?Throughout season 2 a couple episodes had custom subtitles written by members of the team. 3 episodes in particular had some secrets. Let me explain.
So starting with western energy right through to oops, the episodes had secrets and references hidden in the subtitles.
A couple favourites of mine being stolas and stella loudly sipping tea in western energy. The subtitles at the end of unhappy campers during moxie and millie’s scene.
And oops had the funniest, like one line mentioning that they cant believe they’re paid to write these, one written by viv’s cat pixel, and another clarifying that fizzy’s pets made it home safely.
Oops was the last episode to feature these funny captions, they left as quickly as they appeared. We were never given an official reason as to why, but i reckon it was down to accessibility.
If you have trouble hearing or english isn’t your first language, you might rely on the captions to follow along and it would understandably be a bit frustrating to instead see random in jokes and bits.
Personally though i thought they were hilarious and miss them alot. I hope they return in season 3.
