The woman first met him at an abandoned train yard. He lives inside an empty decomissioned train. The secuirty guard there let him sleep there. In exchange, he helps guard the property too. He causes no harm.
He arrived in the city 20 years ago. He was promised a job but it turns out to be a scam. He wanted to buy a train ticket home but another tragedy took place. His wallet, ID cards were stolen. With nothing on him, no ID to get a job, he became homeless and has been for the past 20 years.
He cooks inside what used to be a bathroom. He has a gas stove that is portable. He carefully hid the apple pears back into place after giving the woman one.
The woman seeing the selflessness, decided to help him. She asked if he needed anything. But he wasn't greedy. He asked for a small bag of salt and laundry detergent. Despite being homeless, he is still quite clean. The woman got him more than that. She got him blankets, duvet covers for his blankets, noodles, cough medicine, and food.
She couldn't help more but he's grateful. He still lives at the train to this date. Perhaps it was a reminder of the last pivotal point in his life. I really hope she goes back and surprise him with a train ticket home.
