many, many moons ago, i’d written & posted a demo of a song called “amber” (inspired by fossils) & a few of you had asked for a full version! i’ve been having some fun with looping & production lately, so i decided to take a stab at building out an instrumental track & looping a full version of the song ☺️ i definitely had fun taking some ~poetic license~ l with this arrangement; if you enjoy these kinds of videos, please do let me know & we can get some more couch looping sessions 🫶

led to feelings creeping;

glinting pendants
to balance being reckless

everytime i crawl back in your skin

amber,
you touch me & it’s like i just remember
where we’ve been

forget about the ancient stuff,
‘cause it’s got nothing on these
fossilized remains of love
i wonder what they’ll call us (x2)

resurrection
after world destruction,
when meteors kept showering from the sky
(& with the storm)
your promises of permanence saved us both from getting crushed,
oh, & the remnants of resentment fade to black & bleed to dust
i’d scorn the sun for you to keep me warm
