In this video I show you guys how I converted the sealed, mid-bass chamber of my 3-way tower speaker, into an 80 Hz ported chamber.
I followed the community's help on deciding how to fix this tower, and decided to redesign the sealed mid-bass section to a ported chamber. Watch the video and let me know what you guys think.
Sealed chamber 1: Tang Band W2-803SM
*Tuning = F3 - 260Hz
Ported Chamber 1: Tang Band W8-2096
*Tuning = F3 - 72Hz
Ported Chamber 2: Tang Band W8-1363SB
*Type = 6th Order Series Bass Reflex
*Tunings = 30Hz & 60Hz
I want these towers to be a complete solution to my listening experience for my living room area. Right now I have the Dayton Audio MK402BT as a stereo setup and they do well, but they need a sub for lower frequencies. These towers will be a all-in-one solution.
