Find Out More: It's been a good week for expansive ambient music & here to join the party is Tokyo's nubo. On his new LP for Western Vinyl he reimagines classic ambient synth sounds, playfully flirts with all manner of field recordings, toys with the sounds of his homeland & deconstructs well worn new age tropes before upcycling them into fluid, forward looking arrangements that dream of better days & a habitable planet.
The track in the video is the title track, "Planetary Vision", but I highly recommend going for the full LP ride, it's a trip.
