[Backstory]
Cinderella didn’t get to the ball by chance. She got the opportunity to go because she worked hard and was kind and kept love in her heart. Cinderella was more than a fairytale. She was kindhearted, gentle, calm and graceful. She worked hard, whether she was doing something she wanted to do or something she was coerced to do.
“If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.” (Cinderella). Cinderella held onto her dream of escaping the wrath of her step family. And she never loss faith — in the end, all of her wishes came true.
For me, the take away is that pure kindness and love triumph over all; not just in the Cinderella story but an axiom witnessed throughout history. These were the inspirations behind my new original tune titled, ‘Cinderella’s Wish’.
