Tanya King and Paul Cross wanted the striking L-shaped house design of Bairnsdale Residence to maximise natural light and take advantage of breathtaking coastal views. "So we had a full-height aluminium screen designed, which allowed a lot of natural light to filter through, but also a lot of privacy from upstairs,” We went behind the design of this calm, inspirational home on the Sunshine Coast, where natural light, a minimalistic aesthetic, and Australian native landscaping, combine to create a tranquil suburban hideaway.
