seizure warning!!!!!Rebuilding It Again” is a collaborative track between Glasgow-based Canadian-British synth artist Soft Riot and Berlin-based electronic musician and DJ Carlos GrabStein, originally from Mexico City. The track is based on an entire re-working of the Soft Riot track “A Spade Is Played Again” from the extended single of the same name, with Grabstein completely transforming the original concepts and vocals of that track into a new beast of its own. This new version is also included on that single and will be released on vinyl on "Upperwave selections 4" on Miseria Records.
The resulting video is a hybrid remix itself, using footage from Soft Riot’s recently released “A Spade Is Played Again (Breakdown Version)” promo video which was mulched up with newly added footage edited by Carlos GrabStein (shot by Andi K) into an entirely new and different edit.

Carlos GrabStein, aka 89s†, is the founder of Berlin-based obscure record label Miseria and is renowned for his distinctive fusion of minimal synth, synth punk, and gothic music. Carlos has developed his own style by making modern fusions of Industrial / EBM / Synth Punk Wave and other genres giving him the privilege of showing his work at numerous underground festivals throughout Europe and Latin America.
Known in the European underground synth/post-punk scene for his signature sound, Soft Riot's unique and auteur approach to the "darkwave/synth" genre includes elements of synthpop, italo disco and EBM with an indie sensibility gleaned from his younger days of being involved in the North American underground hardcore/punk scene in the 1990s.
