Found this lefty Epiphone SG locally for about 80 USD, and I couldn't not get it. This is the most basic, entry-level Epiphone SG but it's definitely an upgrade from my previous Harley Benton SG diy Kit guitar. While I do enjoy playing Les Paul-style guitars, there is something about the aggressive, mid-forward tone of the SG that I appreciate more and more as time goes by.
