The Gweta is a move that’s all about dodging those haters! On our exploration of Afro Fusion dance, this move takes us to Togo. The move is characterised by a wiggle in the legs, and looks a bit like picking something up and moving it away. You can also experiment with different levels, taking it high and low. This short workshop for beginners will give you a taster of this dance style.

Dancer, teacher and choreographer Patience J shares some Afro dance moves to bring us some joy, along with participants Bella, Dahlia and Ranjini, who are dancing these moves for the first time.
