The Cult es una banda británica de Gothic Rock y Hard Rock fundada en 1983 como Death Cult por el vocalista Ian Astbury, aunque mas adelante dicho nombre sería reducido a simplemente The Cult. Si bien su sonido en un principio estaba ligado al Gothic Rock, fue cambiando paulatinamente, metiéndose en terrenos más Hardrockeros, e impulsando el resurgimiento del Hard Rock en Inglaterra ya hacia la segunda mitad de los 80.He aquí un top de mis 20 favoritas...
