In conjunction with the Blue Angels flyover from Boca to Miami, The Hollywood Fire Rescue & Hollywood Police Departments recognized the efforts of the healthcare workers at Hollywood Memorial Regional Hospital. With a salute to our heroes, Hollywood Police and Fire crews displayed their gratitude and showed their support by driving in front of the emergency room on Johnson Street with lights and sirens to salute the men and women who have given so much during this coronavirus health crisis. The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels honored frontline COVID-19 first responders and essential workers with formation flights over South Florida on May 8, 2020.
