The S08E06 "Surf and/or Turf"-inspired beauty "Only One" is no exception and impressed with a crafty progression full of creative ideas, and a wonderful variety of vocal chops from "Your Heart Is in Two Places", the song sung by the CMC in that episode. Other music visionary and lovely pony musician R3CTIFIER gave it a whole new spin while focusing on certain vocal chops from the original, and the emotion that it triggers is so incredibly powerful that it cannot be described with words. The soft unique atmosphere accompanying the vocal chops is just indescribable as it completes the vocals with such the perfect mood for emotion. And the vocals themselves are emphasized in such a way that those long "tide" and "begun" sung words are just calling for powerful emotion, as we recognize those voices from those characters who we love so much. It certainly makes me tear up everytime personally, and I can only hope that it could have a powerful effect to you too. This masterpice of a remix is definitely a very fine example of a very emotional use of pony vocal chops, that is calling back to what we feel for the characters so well. And not just the chops, but the remix also exhibits a mighty new instrumental and drops full of quality sound design and emotion too, as the beautiful melodies from the original are entrancing our ears once more in a brand new way.
