This is a Motormouth couple car review and first look at the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV full-electric mid-size SUV. Two models for Canada, the 350 and 500. In the US, you will also get the 350 +, a RWD model. 90.6 kWh battery and a 9.6 kWh onboard charger. The unofficial numbers have the EQE SUV getting up to 550 km of range on the European cycle. More compact than the EQE sedan with a wheelbase that is 9 cm shorter. The shorter wheelbase makes it easy to manoeuvre. With Air suspension with adjustable damping available as an option. To increase ground clearance, the vehicle can be raised up to 25 mm.A short overlap to front and rear giving it a dynamic look with an edgier and crisp design, there is no third row option, it is a little wider but shorter than the GLE and available running boards. In terms of headroom, legroom and elbow room, the EQE SUV is one of the most spacious in its class. With the available MBUX Hyperscreen you see in the EQS sedan and SUV, the 56” curved glass surface that is finger print and scratch resistant, unites a 12.3” LED instrument cluster and two OLED touchscreens measuring 17.7” and 12.3” Traditional materials and colours give the interior a special look with five coordinated colour combinations in warm and cool tones including wood and aluminum. Standard leather free interior, available Nappa leather.AMG models provide performance, driving precision and power. AMG specific motor and battery. Unofficial numbers are 687 horsepower and 730 lb-ft of torque. 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 220 km and with the dynamic package 240 km. It also has air suspension, adaptive damping, 90 degree rear axle steering, 20 mm lower than non AMG models. 5 drive modes from slippery to comfortable to sport. Mercedes-Benz has pumped sound into the exterior and interior providing an emotional sound experience to the vehicle which can be shut off. Three levels of one pedal drive.AMG EQE SUV in Soda light blue looks hot with a black panel front with AMG styling and a structured grille that is looking more like a real grille. AMG logo, standard digital lighting which can project the AMG logo, chrome and dark chrome accents or high gloss black with night package. Standard 21” wheels, carbon ceramic brakes with red brake calipers available. Body coloured wheels arches with flush door handles and available running boards.
