In this short, Matt gives us a closer look at our helicopter gauges. The helicopter gauges are vital for flight as they tell the pilot certain things about the aircraft. The altimeter communicates how high above sea level the aircraft is. The vertical speed indicator tells the pilot how fast the aircraft is descending or climbing. The airspeed indicator communicates how fast the aircraft is traveling in knots. The turn coordinator translates the rate of a turn. Lastly, the directional gyro serves as a directional display, similar to that of a compass!
