Dark Army Resurrection was a very popular mod for Breath of the Wild and now it's in Tears of the Kingdom! This mod makes strides to turn Tears of the Kingdom into a Souls-like by adding more enemies, higher tier scaled enemies, punishing you upon death, and requiring keys to open chests. The chests contain multiple randomized items and in order to get chest keys you have to fight enemies, leading to a very satisfying gameplay loop.

IF YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT DIFFICULTY, DON'T BE! NEARLY EVERY SINGLE PART OF THE MOD IS CUSTOMIZABLE, SO YOU CAN CHOOSE WHICH FEATURES YOU WANT TO ENABLE!

THIS MOD IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT SO EVERYTHING YOU SEE ISN'T FINAL, in fact, it's already changed since I played it. Now there's a new feature that adds a ton of randomly spawning enemies, so as you explore Hyrule, you'll be assaulted by an onslaught of enemies including Bokoblins, Moblins, Gibdos, Flying Gibdos, Horriblins, Boss Bokoblins, Soldier Constructs, Captain Constructs and even Phantom Ganon.
