Songkran is on April13 in Thailand. It used to be the Thai old new year day. We celebrates by giving food to the monk, gently drop the water to buddha's statue, monks, elder to show signs of respect. At the end we gently throw each other with water for fun and friendship and we usually says nice wishes to each others as well.
