Here's a simple way you can make an adjustable countdown timer than can offer a rather long countdown period if necessary. i.e. 23.5 hours in the case of the unit I am modifying in this video.

I want it to control the charge transfer from my 10 Volt Battery circuit. But naturally, it could be used for almost anything you want to set & forget, yet not come on again once the time has elapsed.
