After a dramatic split earlier this year, both parties are moving forward - and fast. Following legal threats from Stringer over ownership of the Amity name, the band has dropped a new track, “All That I Remember,” featuring Kingdom Of Giants’ Johnathan Reeves. Early fan reaction has been positive, and with a huge summer tour alongside Beartooth, I Prevail, Killswitch and Parkway Drive.
Meanwhile, Ahren Stringer is teaming up with Yung Yogi, formerly of Volumes, to form Self Checkout — a band focused on confronting addiction, grief, and mental health head-on. No music has dropped yet, but they’ve promised raw, heavy material that reflects their lived experiences. The first track is set to be “the heaviest thing (Stringer) has ever been a part of.”
