When Jack's son Elliot (Michael Angarano) fails to get a date for his school dance, Jack volunteers Grace. Things don't go well, Grace is literally benched and Jack gets carried away teaching Elliot how to dance. From Will & Grace Season 4 Episode 3 'Crouching Father Hidden Husband: Jack (Sean Hayes) is puffed up with paternal pride as he escorts his long-lost teenaged son Elliot (guest star Michael Angarino) to a junior high school dance but not before he coerces Grace (Debra Messing) into posing as Elliot's date -- which only revives her own tortured memories of rejection from school dances many years before. Elsewhere, Karen (Megan Mullally) has great fun at her lawyer Will's (Eric McCormack) expense when she continues to capriciously summon him for bogus "emergencies" -- that is, until she really needs him.
Will & Grace is set in New York City and focuses on the relationship between Will Truman, a gay lawyer, and his best friend Grace Adler, a Jewish woman who owns an interior design firm. Also featured are their friends Karen Walker, a demonically alcoholic socialite, and Jack McFarland, a gay actor. The interplay of relationships features the trials and tribulations of dating, marriage, divorce, and casual sex; as well as comical key stereotypes of gay and Jewish culture.
