Josh Brolin’s mom ran a 230-acre wildlife refuge in California where she rescued and raised wolves, coyotes, mountain lions, and even a gorilla. She was a casting director at 20th Century Fox and married actor James Brolin in 1966 before divorcing him in 1984.
Everybody knew her for her eccentric, bold, and wild personality. She lived big, kept wild animals, and carried an untamed energy that brought Josh to say she was more “infamous” than she was famous.
She tragically passed in a car crash in 1995 at the age of 55. Her full name was Jane Cameron Agee.
